As I mentioned in “The new foodie in town” I am a food and fitness fanatic! (As well asa nutrition and fitness consultant) They can work together, trust me. 🙂 I learned a long time ago that healthy eating is a way of life, not a diet, but we have to live life. And for a lot of people cutting out some of the “good stuff” can lead to eating a lot of extra “bad stuff”. Since, this journey isn’t about quick fix dieting, it is about a journey, people have to learn to eat “normal”. If a person truly likes eating 100% clean, go for it, but for the masses old favorites need to be there to help push through to the next clean meal. 🙂
So, the goal with my recipes is to take foods that just about everyone loves and make them as healthy as possible. Not every recipe will be low calorie, and some times maybe just plain yummy and old school, but another part of this lifestyle journey is eating in moderation. I want people to look at food as something they can enjoy, not fear, and along the way not dread eating outside what they consider to be “diet food”.
Eat, love, live your life, and indulge your inner foodie!

I love the way you look at food! Everything in moderation! I have been trying to teach my daughter that right now. It is so tough to set- up healthy ways of thinking about food!

Thank you! 🙂 It can be really tricky, but if you teach them young it will make their life so much easier. 🙂
