The New Foodie in Town and Contact Info

about collage 1
Hi my name is Angie! I am a stay at home mom of two littles ages 4 and 5Β and feel very lucky to be able to be able to stay home and take care of them. I also help my husband with the office side of his ever growing excavation company and am a nutrition and fitness consultant on the side. When I’m not helping hubby, or chasing after the kids, I’ve dedicated my time to helping women reach their fitness and weight loss goals through online groups that I have set up. I am a foodie at heart, but also a fitness fanatic. I have made it a personal goal of mine to reinvent as many recipes that are old favorites to be more pleasure and less guilt. πŸ™‚ But I don’t mind slipping in a few old, tried, and true comfort foods. I look forward to sharing my recipes with all of you and hope you enjoy trying them as much as I’ve enjoyed creating them!

cropped-dec-2016.jpgI’m a first generation blogger and super foodie! Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think that there is a single person in my family that doesn’t like to eat, but I am the first to make it my mission to, maybe not change the world, but change as many recipes as I can to be a little more guilt free, and a little healthier than what mom and grandma use to make. I eat with my eyes before I ever taste food so appetizing photos of my recipes are on the top of my list when it comes to making people drool. πŸ˜‰

I’m super excited about my new adventure and I hope to bring a lot of you along with me. Before I ever reached this point I was inspired by a lot of other female food bloggers that have made their way up from the bottom to being the successful front page food blogs that we see popping up all over the place today. I look forward to seeing you along the way!

  1. Foodies are everywhere! My friend has been a foodie for years and has become quite the accomplished home cook. Food Network I think has helped him with some of his ideas. It will be interesting to see how the crossing of foodie and fitness will intersect, so I look forward to reading more about it.

    1. Yes, they are! I agree, Food Network has taken the world by storm. πŸ™‚ Actually be a foodie and a fitness fanatic isn’t that complicated. I make as many of my recipes as healthy as I can, and the ones that may just be purely indulgent, it is up to the person eating them to use self control. πŸ˜‰ Thanks for your comment!
