Your Chocolate Is On My Peanut Butter……
“You got your chocolate in my peanut butter!” “You got your peanut butter on my chocolate!” If you remember this then you remember some of the most classic years in our history, the 80’s. Even if you don’t remember this commercial I am sure you have encountered this saying somewhere. Even “Family Guy” made a spoof off of this memorable encounter. Anyway, the point is whether it is chocolate and peanut butter, or peanut butter and chocolate you have a marriage that just can’t go wrong. It is a classic and it always will be.
I have brought you several recipes that involve chocolate and peanut butter because my family just goes crazy any time that I make something with this combo.
Perfect Peanut Butter Blossoms
Cocoa Cluster and Peanut Butter Bars
Peanut Butter Pound Cake with Dark Chocolate Chunks
Just to name a few……
You might think that there are only so many ways you can combine these flavors, but the options are endless. Honestly, today’s recipe is pretty traditional, but when I made it my kids fell in love and I just had to share the recipe with everyone. The recipe is for Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Cookies. They are simple, to the point, and don’t use dairy or eggs! This is a win for many reasons, but mostly because you can eat the cookie dough raw. What? I know that I am not the only person who does this. Well, whether you eat the dough raw or baked sit back, relax, and enjoy!
What is your favorite chocolate peanut butter combo?
