I know, you are probably thinking that they are absolutely taste free as well, but they are beyond yummy. They have been 100% family approved by hubby, and both littles. That is rare for a healthy treat. And they also have a short ingredient list, and bake time! The Best Breakfast Cookies

¼ cup sweetener (I used Sugar 2.0)
¼ cup almond butter (I used homemade)
1/8 cup unsweetened apple sauce
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¾ cup Bob’s Red Mill almond flour
¾ cup Bob’s Red Mill Paleo muesli
2 Tablespoons chopped dark chocolate (I used 88%)
Preheat oven to 350’f
In a medium bowl cream together sweetener, almond butter, apple sauce, and ground cinnamon
Thoroughly combine the almond flour with the creamed mixture
Fold in muesli and chopped chocolate chunks
Using a small cookie scoop, scoop cookies dough onto a parchment paper covered cookie sheet
Lightly flatten each ball with your hand (They will not spread)
Bake for 8 minutes in preheated oven
Remove from the oven and allow to cool 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack
Once cooled keep them in a sealed container in the fridge for up to a week, or freeze them. Because of the moisture content they will mold quickly if left on the counter for more than a day or two, depending on the temperature of your house.
Note: These cookies will not brown on the top. But they will lightly brown on the bottom.
