You Can Eat Without Guilt……
Unless you have been under a rock your entire life you know what Nutella is. You know it is creamy, delicious, and absolutely sinful. It is decadent, but if you look at the nutrition label you’ll note that the commercials that show it being served on toast as part of a well-rounded, healthy breakfast, are just deceptive and wrong. In all honesty, there isn’t anything healthy about Nutella, and the small number of hazelnuts that they do use are almost negligible in the shadow of the extra oil and sugar that they use. Don’t worry, I’m here to rescue you and let you eat hazelnut spread virtually guilt free. I’m going to warn you, it isn’t nearly as glossy and runny as Nutella because it only has 3 ingredients, but no extra oil, or emulsifiers. It is actually more of the consistency of chocolate frosting, but who can complain about that? 😉
Let me give you a quick rundown of the numbers before I tell you how incredibly easy this stuff is to make! I’ll just say it now, “you are welcome”.
Nutella
Ingredients: Sugar (It is listed first so that means it is the most dominant ingredient), Palm oil (So far we are eating sugar and oil), hazelnuts (Hey, there they are!), skim milk, soya lecithin emulsifier, and vanillin

Do you see what I see? 😊
So! As you can see there is literally no comparison between the two. There aren’t even any tips for this recipe. The only tip is, the longer you keep the food processor going, the creamier it gets. Unlike Nutella you will have to refrigerate it like you would any natural nut butter so it is going to get stiff and lose some of its creaminess, but if you stir it up, or let it sit out for a little bit it will become creamy and glossy again. Other than that you need to hurry, make a batch, sit back, relax, and enjoy!
