Norman Rockwell – Home For Christmas

With Christmas just a couple of days away I wanted to do a quick breakfast recipe round up for everyone. Whether you are having a brunch, a full blown family breakfast, a tray of sweet treats, or just need something to throw at the kids before the dive into the presents you can find a quick and easy, not to mention super yummy, recipe here. Most of these recipes can be made a day or two ahead so all you have to do is heat them up on Christmas morning, or better yet there are a few that don’t need any heating at all!

What is most important is that they don’t drain a lot of your precious time, leaving you feeling ragged and edgy, with these quick recipes you can spend more time with your family, and less time in the kitchen. Now you can sit back, relax, and enjoy what truly matters. Merry Christmas!

  1. That frittata sounds AMAZING. I made this really great breakfast casserole adapted from a recipe I found on the PBS Facebook page two weeks ago. I made it in a ramekin but I imagine you could start it the night before and put it in the oven day of. Anyway, I used about half an English muffin broken up with sautéed onion and mushroom on top. Then I beat two eggs with milk and some marjoram and cayenne pepper and baked it in my toaster oven. It was AMAZING. I’m super excited about breakfast casseroles now 🙂

    1. Thank you! For this recipe I suppose you could throw it together and then chill and bake the next day. I haven’t tried it, let me know if you do. 🙂 I always cook mine, then just reheat it in the microwave the next day. Your recipe sounds great!
